Food for Thought - towards the Transformation of Agri-Food Systems

Dear Readers,

So far, we have been reporting under "World without Hunger" on how to achieve food and nutrition security for the world population. With the UN Food Systems Stocktacking Moment and the BMZ special initiative "Transformation of Agricultural and Food Systems", this website is also going through a transformation. In the future, it will be published under "Food4Transformation" (F4T).

As before, different actors will be able to contribute their views and experts from all over the world will be able to discuss issues of food and nutrition security, rural development and sustainable agriculture. Four interviews kick off the relaunch under a new name, asking one and the same questions from four different perspectives. featuring Kolyang Palebele (Pan-African Farmers Organization), Dirk Meyer (BMZ), Dr. Julia Köhn (Agri-Food Society), Mareike and Stig Tanzmann (both Brot für die Welt).

Food for Thought - für eine Transformation der Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme

Liebe Leser*innen,

neuer Absender – aber warum? Bislang haben wir unter „Welt ohne Hunger“ zu der Frage berichtet, wie sich eine Ernährung der Weltbevölkerung erreichen lässt. Kurz vor dem UN Food System Stocktaking Moment und nach Fortführung der BMZ Sonderinitiative „Transformation der Agrar- und Ernährungssysteme“, durchläuft auch diese Website eine Transformation: In Zukunft wird unter „Food4Transformation“ (F4T) veröffentlicht.

Weiterhin werden unterschiedliche Akteure zu Wort kommen und Expert*innen aus aller Welt zu Themen der Ernährungssicherheit, Ländlichen Entwicklung und Nachhaltigen Agrarwirtschaft diskutieren. Den Auftakt machen fünf Gesprächspartner*innen, die sich mit vier unterschiedlichen Perspektiven dieselben drei Frage stellen. Mit dabei sind Kolyang Palebele (Präsident der Pan-African Farmers Organization), Dirk Meyer (BMZ), Dr. Julia Köhn (Agri-Food Society), Mareike Haase und Stig Tanzmann (beide Brot für die Welt).
